    Hangar9: Family-owned and female operated

Originally founded in partnership by Jo-Ann Fisher in 1983, and rebranded in 2014 to Hangar9, the retail shop on Richmond Row remains family-owned and female operated.

Inside Hangar9, you’ll also find Accents, Lisa Ferguson’s business that offers products from highly sought after designers that previously could only be found in metropolitan cities. The retail store carries well-known designers such as 10 Crosby Derek Lam, Frame, Rag & Bone, Woldford, and Mackage.

I attended Sheridan College for retail management and then came home to work in the family business, I worked with my mother (Jo-Anne Fisher), for about thirty years and helped her in growing what is now known as Hangar9. I then turned my dreams of handbags, shoes, jewelry, and the ever changing fashion industry into my inspiration for Accents.
